18 March Covid-19 Construction Survey

This survey has been prepared to support the industry’s leading trade and representative bodies: Association for Consultancy & Engineering, Build UK, Chartered Institute of Building, Civil Engineering Contractors Association, Construction Products Association, Federation of Master Builders, National Federation of Builders, and Institution of Civil Engineers; as part of their response to the Covid-19 pandemic. All individual responses will remain confidential.

3.On 17 March the UK Government launched an extension to the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme, offering up to £5 million in loans to any UK business to support them to pay rent, staff, and suppliers. The loans will be interest-free for the first six months and will be available from next week from high street banks.
