What is an Area Action Partnership (AAP)?

14 AAPs across County Durham give local people a greater voice in their communities.

We are inviting you to help shape the work of your local AAP by voting for your top three priorities for 2019-2021 to address your key concerns and put into action some of your ideas and suggestions.

8,000 people took part in our survey in 2016, including over 3,000 secondary school pupils. This helped AAPs allocate £2,704,913 and attract over £2,431,863 of additional funds to deliver 825 local projects during 2017/18.

Firstly, we need to establish which AAP you have an interest in, so the first four pages will tell us which settlement, village or town you live in as well as which AAP covers your area.
