New GB Remit Format and Usage Survey

National Grid currently provides a service to the GB Industry so that they can meet their obligations under REMIT to publish inside information (Urgent Market Messages – UMMs) which have been in place since 2012. We are currently in the process of upgrading the current service to meet the new requirements that go live on 1st January 2017, (More detail below). So we can gauge the market participation and use of the National Grid service, can we please ask that you participate in this short survey. Additional REMIT obligations come into force from July 2016 under Article 10(1) of the Implementing Regulations. They require market participants (or service providers disclosing such information on market participants’ behalf) to provide web feeds of inside information published on their website to ACER (Agency for Cooperation of Energy Regulators), though ACER publically stated in February that it would not monitor these feeds until Jan 2017 to allow TSOs (Transmission System Operators) to focus on other recent REMIT implementation projects. Rigid formats for that data are detailed in the REMIT Manual of Procedures requiring us to make changes to our current REMIT system to remain compliant
