YGN University Engagement survey
Introduction
Why are we doing this survey and why now?
The Nuclear Institute runs an Education Affiliate membership scheme for universities and other education providers that allows students to register for free Affiliate membership. The YGN is supporting the Nuclear Institute to grow its University membership and therefore the number of students and academics that engage with its events, network and activities.
The YGN is looking to coordinate a series of presentations, as an introduction to the nuclear industry and the Nuclear Institute, given by a range of members across the nuclear industry to university students. This might be given to relevant societies, course groups or open events. A presentation template and guidance will be provided.
The aim is to highlight the range of disciplines required in the industry, and inspire students into nuclear careers that they may not be aware of.
Please complete this survey by 30th November.
The survey should take you no longer than 5 minutes and is completely anonymous. You will be able to opt out of answering specific questions but even if you only partially complete the survey this is more useful to us than not answering it at all. The more members who respond to the survey the more accurate will be our data and our monitoring.
The wording used has been developed in association with the YGN Education, Attraction and Outreach Lead but if you have any questions about the survey please contact comms.ygn@nuclearinst.com
