What does the bursary cover?
Successful applicants will receive a £500 bursary for each event they attend. The bursary money can be used to contribute towards travel, accommodation, daily costs and show tickets, but is not limited to these expenses. In partnership with Unlimited we will cover access costs and support access requirements. Bursary winners also get free registration to each event (usually €100).
What about access?
To enhance access to each event, British Council is working with Unlimited to support individual access needs and, as far as possible, to meet access requirements. This will be agreed with you in advance and might include British Sign Language interpretation, personal assistant travel costs or additional taxi fares.
