For a number of years now, Haybrook College Trust has been delivering the education for around 30 Post 16 learners, via a commissioning agreement with Slough Pitstop Project. These learners are primarily based at The Gateway provision but also utilise the vocation provisions: motor mechanics, construction and catering at Kitchen Craft. Haybrook College Trust has been responsible for all aspects of education across The Gateway and the vocational centres and was instrumental in Slough Pitstop Project obtaining ‘good’ in all areas in its latest Ofsted inspection.

It is our proposal that the contract for these learners is transferred to Haybrook College Trust, allowing us to assume full responsibility for the education of these post 16 learners and allowing Slough Pitstop Project charity board to focus on its core purpose of raising funds to support the project.

We would therefore like to consult with everyone associated with both Haybrook College Trust and Slough Pitstop Project, including local schools and colleges, neighbouring local authorities and community members, on this matter. It is important to us to consult all of the people associated with both the Post-16 and vocational settings before any final decisions are made
