Cardiff and the Vale High Impact Substance Misusers Survey

This survey is part of the next steps in enhancing the local response to high impact, change resistant substance misusers.   These are people who are having a significant and repeated impact on public services because of their drinking or drug use but are currently unwilling to accept help.

The Area Planning Board held a workshop in April to discuss how to develop the response to this group.   Two main proposals have been put forward: enhanced assertive outreach and a community based multi-agency group which will manage these high impact substance misusers.  We are keen for your thoughts on these developments.

This survey has only 10 questions so will only take five minutes to complete and will provide crucial information for our planning.

We look forward to hearing from you.   For more information contact mward@alcoholconcern.org.uk
