Judging Criteria:
Technical testing will determine the shortlist and the judges will use the form, technical testing and their industry knowledge to determine the winner. Answers must highlight the following:
•Pricing and value for money a flexibility on contracts for expanding data
•Account management and hours of support
•Variety of services on offer (ie virtualisation, remote administration of racks etc)
•Availability and speed of service
•Firewalls and other information and physical security at data centre(s)
• Data back-up services and mirroring
• Guaranteed uptime and server redundancy – availability of ‘hot’ replacement
•Power supply, energy efficiency and reboot options
•Patch management process
•Guarantees for connecting servers to the Internet
•Peering arrangements with other ISPs
•Number and variety of IP addresses offered
Bearing in mind the judging criteria, entrants are required to answer the following questions using no more than 200 words per section. Please include any evidence within the given word limit.
ISPA judges may ask ISPA Secretariat to contact entrants to clarify any information given in the application.
