Pan London Cancer Training Needs Assessment for Primary, Community and Social Care Staff

You are invited to complete this training needs assessment (TNA). This survey will help us understand your knowledge and experience of supporting people who are at risk or have been affected by cancer. This includes prevention, early diagnosis and cancer as a long term condition), so we can tailor training and education to meet the need of the workforce in primary and community care.

The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Anonymised and summarised reports may be shared with third parties. All data will be treated as confidential, raw data will not be shared with third parties.

Specific objectives of the TNA include:

· Knowledge of prevention, screening and risks of developing cancer

· Knowledge of potential cancer signs and symptoms
· Confidence in talking about prevention of cancer, early diagnosis and living with and beyond cancer
· Confidence about your role in diagnosing cancer earlier and in providing holistic personalised care
· Knowledge about practice, process and systems that have been put in place locally to support cancer diagnosis and holistic personalised care.
