Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council (ANBC) deliver a Good Relations Programme part funded by The Executive Office and ANBC.  The aim of Good Relations Programme is to improve day to day relationships by reducing all forms of prejudice, promoting equality and encouraging a society in which our own cultures and traditions as well as other people’s cultures and traditions are understood, respected and accepted. 

Antrim and Newtownabbey Good Relations Programmes works to deliver four key priorities and outcomes.

ANBC has committed to developing a Good Relations Audit & Strategy 2020-25, and Action Plan 2021-22.  The Strategy and associated local Action Plan will be designed to create and support a locally relevant and focussed programme of activity.
