Introduction to the Survey
We kindly request 15 minutes of your time to share your insights and expertise regarding the untapped potential in the creative digital space in a region which spans from Galway, extending through Sligo, Enniskillen, Letterkenny, and Derry. The survey aims to gather your perspectives on infrastructure, network development, and skill enhancement within this creative digital landscape.
Background Information
Our survey is part of a broader initiative undertaken by Blu Zebra Ltd, in collaboration with the Galway Culture Company and its partners, including the Derry City & Strabane District Council, Western Development Commission, Atlantic Technological University, and the University of Ulster. This project is on behalf of the Galway City Council.
Blu Zebra's primary role is to conduct a Feasibility Study for the establishment of the 'Atlantic Region of Creative Content' (ARCC). This envisioned Creative Industries Cluster will encompass creative technologies and virtual production facilities, serving the creative industries in both Northern and Southern Ireland. Specifically, it focuses on the Galway, Sligo-Enniskillen, and Letterkenny-Derry regions.
Scope of the Feasibility Study
The ARCC initiative represents a promising growth area within the Creative Industries, particularly in the realm of Creative Technology and Creative Digital sectors across the shared island. This study will assess the feasibility of virtual production workspaces, networking opportunities, collaborative endeavors, and the associated resource requirements. Furthermore, it aims to define the structure and operation of a cross-border creative cluster, addressing its management, facilitation, and the functioning of virtual production spaces.
The closing date for the survey is Monday 16th October 2023.
