GMB's Care Full Pay campaign is calling for the UK's social care workforce to receive full pay when they're off work due to illness.
Most people working in social care will experience a pay cut if unwell and off work.
The current rate of Statutory Sick pay is just £95.85 a week and care workers will go a full three days unpaid before receiving this.
GMB has had some big wins, with care home providers already agreeing to pay full sick pay for their employees in cases of Covid-19. We don't think this is goes far enough and this campaign has one simple demand - full sick pay for our care workers.
