Introduction
Scottish Government has launched a consultation seeking views on the future Land Reform Bill. This consultation is important as it will affect all types of landowners and occupier in Scotland. Land reform is defined as ‘the ownership, management and use of land’.
This consultation covers questions on scale of land ownership, rights and responsibilities relating to land, land sales and transparency. It also has questions relating to public funding for land owners.
Your input on this consultation is vital in shaping how NFUS responds to Scottish Government.
