Welcome

The Carmunnock Community Forum was set up to develop a unified approach to support the village and its inhabitants, build community engagement, develop communication, empower our community and strengthen our presence at local and national level. We are a group of people who are involved in a variety of different groups and activities.

We started our community conversation with a brief survey at the Christmas events at the end of last year. In it people told us that 88% (of 60 respondents) really enjoyed the community ethos and events.

This survey, targeting the whole community, explores in depth what matters to us and how we can move forward together. It is a vital means of helping us understand how to sustain and flourish our community in Carmunnock.

We want to identify your priorities and use this to take action that comes from us as a community. The children will be asked for their views in Carmunnock Primary School. We hope to have focus groups from teenagers and residents in Trust House and Gallowhill Road.

We want as many responses as possible, so please encourage everyone in your household to complete a copy. You will receive one paper copy per household with information about drop off points, but we encourage everyone to complete it online here if you can.

The deadline for completion and return is 6 March 2020, when the online survey should also be closed.

Prize Draw!

We want to encourage everyone to participate and are offering adults a £100 voucher for Mitchells Restaurant and cinema tickets for 4 for young people. The tear-off sheet at the back of the survey will allow you to keep your identity separate from your survey response so you have a chance of winning.

This survey is anonymous and respondents will not be identified. We will feedback to the community in April 2020.

Your return is important – your voice counts. Please answer the questions below to help us.

Thank you!
