Data and confidentiality statement

Information collected through this survey will be anonymised, looked at collectively and used to inform your school on what’s working well, as well as providing practical recommendations on where changes could be made to improve the school day for children and young people on a low income.

We may use quotes from the survey anonymously to help the school and others understand where difficulties might lie and what can be done to address them.

It is optional for parents and carers to provide contact details as part of this survey. If they are provided, we may contact you to discuss costs at your child’s school, or as part of our project evaluation, to follow up with you six months to one year after completing the survey. After this time, this data will be removed from our records. To comply with the requirements of the project, we will share essential project data confidentially with official project partners. These include Children North East and our evaluation partners. Child Poverty Action Group is General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliant and this project will handle any data collected in accordance with GDPR.
