The 10th Carers Parliament will be held on Wednesday 9 November 2022. The event will be a hybrid event, with 75 places available in person and other carers attending virtually.

We have limited places to allow for more COVID19 security by enabling greater social distancing between tables.  We will also ask all staff to wear face masks - and request that carers attending wear a facemask when not sitting at discussion tables (unless exempt).  For those who do not qualify for free lateral flow tests, we will cover the cost of these within expenses.

Applications to this event are open to unpaid carers. This means people who provide unpaid care to family members, other relatives, partners, friends and neighbours of any age affected by physical or mental illness, disability, frailty or substance misuse.

This form is for people to attend the event online (virtually).   We have a separate form if you would like to attend in person.  Please find this here by clicking here.

If you want to be considered to attend in person, please complete both the In Person Form and the Virtual Attendance Forms as the in person form has questions about what support you may need to attend.

Please note: this event will be filmed and photographs will be taken.  Any films or photographs will only be used in relation to the Carers Parliament.

We are hosting 4 workshops in person on the day on the Carers Strategy, Dementia Strategy, Right to a Break from Caring and Scottish Carer's Assistance: next steps.  Unfortunately due to limitations, we cannot offer these as a hybrid option.

However, we have organised a repeat of these workshops over the  period 8th - 11th November to ensure where carers can also contribute to these important discussions online. You will be able to register for these by clicking here shortly

There are also approximately 20 virtual events, either workshops, discussions and information sessions tailored for unpaid carers as part of the Carers Parliament 2022.  You can find the full programme by clicking here
