Scottish Carer's Assistance - Payment Duration Following a Cared For Person's Death

1.When the Scottish Government takes over Carer's Allowance and replaces it with the Carer's Assistance Payment it is proposed that a new rule will be brought in on how long the payment will continue to be made following the death of a cared for person.

The government wants to keep paying Carer's Assistance for 12 weeks, rather than the current 8 weeks under Carer's Allowance.

Do you agree or disagree with the change that Carer's Assistance Payment will be made for 12 weeks after a cared for person's death?
