IP address (note: also collected by the 3rd party data processors)

To join the study, you will need to sign a consent form and complete a contact details and health declaration form, to do this we use a system called Greenlight Guru Clinical. This system uses your information to:
• Facilitate the e-consent process.
• Send you emails and text messages with links to documents and forms via third-party processors.*
• Track and manage your consent status.

* Third-party processors are used by both TimeTap and Greenlight Guru Clinical to send emails and text messages on our behalf. These processors are contractually obligated to protect your personal information and use it only for the purposes of sending communications on our behalf.

In addition to the Personal Information you provide, we may also collect, and store metadata associated with any files you submit (such as pictures, videos). This metadata can include details such as file creation and modification dates, and technical attributes. SPD will not generally use this metadata apart from storing it. If you prefer not to share this metadata with SPD, we recommend scrubbing the data before sharing.

Regardless of whether you join the study or not, your personal information from your application will be stored in the U.S. for a minimum of 6 months after your application date.

Your personal information may be stored electronically and processed outside the country in which you originally provided it. SPD will comply with applicable legal requirements in the receiving country by implementing appropriate safeguards that are designed to ensure that transferred data is adequately protected in the recipient country. Further information about data transfers and the safeguards SPD implement may be obtained by contacting us as indicated below.

SPD has also put in place appropriate measures to protect the security and confidentiality of your information. The information you provide will be accessed only be SPD clinical study staff. We may also share your personal information for the purposes described in this policy with service providers, as well as our clinical study management and recruitment provider in the UK. These organisations are not authorised to use or disclose your information except as necessary to perform services on our behalf or to comply with legal requirements.

Subject to applicable law, you have certain rights with respect to personal information we process about you, these include:
· Access the personal information we hold about you.
· Request corrections to any inaccurate or incomplete information.
· Request the deletion of your personal information, subject to legal requirements.
· Object to the way in which your data is used.

SPD is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity in all aspects of its operations, including adherence to competition laws and the conduct of clinical studies. Any misuse or abuse of competition laws or participation in clinical studies for reasons other than genuine interest will not be tolerated. SPD reserves the right to pursue legal remedies, including litigation, against those who engage in such misconduct. We are dedicated to addressing these issues seriously to guarantee fairness, transparency and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
