About this survey

The Carbon Literacy Project and Manchester Metropolitan University are undertaking research to evaluate people's thoughts, feelings and actions on climate change, and the impact of Carbon Literacy training.

NOTE: This survey is open to all adults aged 18 or over. You don't need to have taken part in Carbon Literacy training to take part in this survey.

The results of the research will be published in the academic literature and shared with other organisations to inform the further development of Carbon Literacy training and other climate change education and awareness raising programmes.

The questionnaire is divided into 3 sections and should take around 20 minutes to complete.

Section 1 focuses on your views on climate change.

Section 2 focuses on actions, exploring actions you've taken or not taken, and the factors influencing these.

Section 3 asks for some background information about you, covering a range of factors relevant to the research.

We do not ask for any personally identifiable information in the survey (i.e. your responses are fully anonymous).

At the end of the survey there will be an option to enter a prize draw for a chance to win £200 of ethical shopping vouchers. Prize draws will be carried out periodically and will include all entries in that period.  The next prize draw will take place on the 24th July.

If you wish to enter the prize draw, simply follow the link and provide your email address (noting this will not be connected with your response to this survey).  If you do not wish to enter the prize draw there is no need to follow the link or provide your email address.

The research leads are Dr Rachel Dunk and Dr Cormac Lawler from the Manchester Metropolitan Carbon Literacy team, and Dave Coleman for the Carbon Literacy Project.
