The law could and should provide simple, fast and effective solutions to disabled people who face discrimination or other unwanted behaviours. So – does the law ensure that disabled people receive equal treatment? This is the question that the Women and Equalities Committee in Parliament are asking at the moment – please see here. At Disability Law Service we believe that the law can be considerably improved, and we will be writing to the Committee. When we do so, we want to include evidence based on what you think. If you have a disability or care for someone with a disability, please help us to make a difference by taking ten minutes to complete our survey.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You may find that you cannot answer many questions in the survey. This is because the questions are about the law which we think is too complicated to be effective. So please do complete the survey, even if you find you answer ‘no’ or 'don't know' to many questions. This will provide vital evidence to show that the law should be changed.
