HideOut Youth Zone

HideOut and the community

WHY ARE WE ASKING FOR FEEDBACK?
HideOut Youth Zone wants all young people across the local area to know about HideOut and the support we offer to help them transition into adulthood. That’s why we are currently looking for community feedback, whether you know much about it or not, so we can make any changes necessary to our programme or to our communication and marketing within the community so we can create a Youth Zone that works with, and for, our local area.
ABOUT HIDEOUT YOUTH ZONE

HideOut Youth Zone is a youth chairty based on Hyde Road (Gorton) which opened in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic.

HideOut believes in giving young people the chance to see what they've got and where it could take them, and providing opportunities that help their development and into their futures.

HideOut is open seven days a week, 52 weeks of the year, for all young people aged 8-19 (and up to 25 with additional needs).

Whilst at the Youth Zone, young people have access to over 20 activities per night, including sports (fully equipped gym, rock climbing wall, 3G football pitch, 3 court sports hall, mixed martial arts and boxing room), creative arts (recording studio, podcasting studio, dance and drama studio, film and multimedia room and art room), training kitchen, health and wellbeing room (including salon), employabilty and enterprise support and a sensory room.

We also offer specialised projects, Duke of Edinburgh and AQA opportunities.

Young people have access to all this for just £5 for an annual membership and 50p per visit. HideOut is also currently offering free hot meals to all members on session (until at least the end of February 2023 when it will return to just £1).
