From September we’ll be holding some online chats for families with a child who has a life-limiting or life-threatening condition. The topics for these sessions are based on feedback from the families we know.

  1. Making Memories. A chance to talk to other parents about cheap and free ways to do this. There’ll be a play specialist from a children’s hospice on hand to answer any questions and help steer the conversation. (10.00-11.00, 11 September 2019)
  2. Advance Care Planning. A short introduction to what an Advance Care Plan is followed by a group discussion. This chat will be led by an experienced Children and Young People’s Palliative Care Nurse. (15.30 - 16.30, 23 September 2019)
  3. Getting the right support for your family. An introduction to the role of social services and information about the support you may be able to access. This chat will be led by a Social Worker with experience of families with disabled children.

Please enter your contact details below. We will be in touch with instructions on how to take part in our family chat sessions.
