Demand Response - Consultation on Key Performance Indicators |
Demand side response or energy flexibility refers to the ability of a system to reduce or increase energy consumption for a period of time in response to an external driver (e.g. energy price change, grid availability). Energy storage refers to the ability of a physical system to consume, retain and release energy as required. This allows system flexibility in response to specific energy demands.
