Galson Estate Heritage Week
Urras Oighreachd Ghabhsainn would like to thank everyone who facilitated or attended events at this years Dùthchas Heritage Week. Whether you facilitated or attended an event or didn't manage to attend an event please take a few minutes to fill out this short questionnaire.
Dùthchas is an annual week-long festival looking at the heritage of the Galson Estate community, focusing on - History & Genealogy, Music & Dance, Traditional Skills, Food & Drink, and Language & Writing.
Urras Oighreachd Ghabhsainn (UOG) partners with organisations and groups (Taigh Dhonnchaidh, Comunn Eachdraidh Nis, RSPB, St Moluag's, UHI, Ness Social Club, Cross Stores etc) within the community to highlight events and workshops that are already running with a few additional talks/pop-ups and workshops added that further emphasise the heritage topics above.
