About this survey

The EFC is running this survey as part of its initiative to build the Institutional Philanthropy Spectrum, a tool that aims to grasp the complexity of institutional philanthropy, support learning and reflection among members, and inform conversations with policymakers.

The 2017 online questionnaire enquires about the following issues:
  • Your organisation’s assets and how you use these assets (Part A).
  • Your work, achievements and opportunities (Part B).
  • The role you believe institutional philanthropy can play in the current policy context, in particular, the challenges posed by recent developments to our democracies in Europe and beyond (Part C).
The deadline for responses is 31 July.

You can complete the survey in several steps, with your input being saved before submitting your final responses. To do this you will have to use the same computer. Your answers on each of the pages will be saved automatically when you click 'Next'.

Please be assured that the EFC will treat your answers with the utmost discretion. The information collected will not be publicly associated with the name of the organisation, unless the respondent gives us their consent to do so. The final report will only feature anonymised or aggregated information. Findings of the survey will be shared with all respondents.
Respondents will receive a copy (pdf) of their completed questionnaire after the deadline.

Who should take this questionnaire?
EFC Members are invited to answer the 2017 online questionnaire. Please only provide one reply per organisation either from the EFC’s primary contact or another designated person at the organisation. Replies to the questionnaire are considered as the institutional view of the organisation.
