UK Ports: Environment Case Studies

Use this form to submit good news environmental stories or case studies from your port (or at a port you have worked at, where the information is public or you have permission to use it). We welcome a wide variety of submissions and you can send as many as you want, within reason. Feel free to submit stories or projects that are similar to those already featured from other ports, too. The idea behind this project is to highlight the wide variety of good work that goes on, often behind the scenes, in ports across the UK.

These stories will be reproduced in a variety of formats. We print them as postcards (see example below), an A4 report (click here to see), and on our website here: https://www.britishports.org.uk/news-events/environmental-news. We will also be highlighting individual stories on a regular basis.

5.Location (UK postcode or map coordinates - this will be where the 'pin' in the map will be. We will try to separate any that are in the exact same point)
6.Story title (ideally 50 characters max)
7.Story sub-title (can be the same as the above; this is for the back of the postcard)
8.Category
9.Story text (up to 150 words)
10.Any additional notes, comments or instructions (not for publication)
11.Main photo (of the project or the port; we can use a stock photo if none are supplied)
