UNISON Falkirk Branch - Save Our Local Services - Community Outreach |
Introduction - Save Our Local Services
UNISON needs your support and would like to hear from you.
Proposals totalling more than £1.3m are aimed at completely stopping all adult educational services in the community, and youth services in selected council areas. As well as affecting service users across Falkirk, the proposals would result in 138 council employees losing their jobs. From parents and toddlers groups to youth groups and senior citizens groups - no area of the community will remain unaffected. As part of our campaign to defend services and members from these cuts - we want to hear about your experiences of using these integral services.
We want to hear about the fantastic things that these services bring to the community. Whether you work in a service, use a service regularly or have seen first hand the positive impact a service makes to the community - let us know.
We encourage you to share your stories. These services deserve to be recognised for the positive impact they create in our local community. Please get behind our campaign and protect Community Learning & Development Services in Falkirk.
