GamCare and Nationwide are working together to improve the quality of gambling-related customer interactions within the financial sector.
 
Nationwide have created a short questionnaire to help them understand this issue, from those who have been directly impacted by gambling. This is a real opportunity to bring lived experience into the formulation of the approaches to supporting vulnerable or at-risk customers.
 
If you choose to take the survey, you will be asked a series of questions about yourself and your gambling, or how you’ve been affected by someone else’s gambling, and the role your financial service provider took or could have taken. The survey should take around 12 minutes to complete.
 
We fully understand that thinking about times when you have experienced difficulties and challenges can be very hard, and so we only want you to participate in this survey if you feel safe and comfortable enough to do so. This research is being conducted in accordance with the Market Research Society Code of Conduct. Your feedback is being collected and processed by GamCare and will be shared with Nationwide. All information will be stored securely and protected by GamCare's privacy policy and Nationwide’s privacy policy. You can request that your data is deleted at any time by contacting data.protection@gamcare.org.uk.
