Career Accelerator are very excited to be growing our flagship programme for LGBT+ young people aged 18-30!

We are connecting 18-30 year old LGBT+ young people with LGBT+ business mentors and strong allies who work at top inclusive businesses such as Pearson, Trainline and Wise to prepare for successful professional careers.

Career Accelerator is an award-winning social enterprise who has been supported and featured by the likes of Teach First, LinkedIn for Good, PinkNews and the Fair Education Alliance. We run three different mentoring programmes and work with over 20 business partners and 10 universities.

By being a mentee on the programme you can benefit from:
- Learning about LGBT+ inclusive jobs in professional sectors
- Developing ambitious, realistic career goals and make steps to achieve these
- Building your LGBT+ professional network
- Building confidence and appreciating your value as an LGBT+ young person
- Navigating being a young LGBT+ person finding employment and progressing

Over the course of the programme, you will have access to the following:
- One training workshop, led by staff at Career Accelerator, to help you develop the skills necessary to be a successful mentee
- At least 3 one-hour one-to-one mentoring sessions with a professional from a top corporate
- Additional support from the Career Accelerator team to help you make the most of your mentoring sessions
- An alumni network where you will have access to additional opportunities such as networking events or internship places
- Exclusive Career Accelerator events led in partnership with our corporate partners

We run programmes three times a year: Autumn (September - December), Spring (January - April) and Summer (May-July). The next programme we are recruiting for is Autumn term (September-December).

Applications are on a rolling basis and places are allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Everyone who completes this sign up form will be invited to an informal, friendly interview with Jhanay from Career Accelerator.
