Introduction

The National Youth Partnership has received support from the Co-op Foundation and the Government to develop training and resources for workers to use to help tackle youth loneliness and isolation. This tool is designed to help organisations to consider how they support young people to deal with loneliness and how more bespoke provision could be developed.

The tool explores five themes that inform work on loneliness and invites workers/organisations to rate where they feel they are. The tool will also signpost people to useful information and resources at the end of each section.

We need more practical resources to help tackle youth loneliness. This tool will allow you to share your work, your thinking and resources you might have developed, which we can then share across our sectors. Your input will help us to develop the most appropriate training and resources for youth workers and young people.

Some of the answers to the questions within this tool will help shape the National Youth Partnerships understanding of how the Youth Sector is understanding and responding to youth loneliness, which will help the development of further resources.
