Early Career & parental leave

We want to get a better sense of the diversity of experiences facing  early-career researchers in the UK. We will not share any personal details and you are welcome to remain anonymous, should you prefer this. It is being carried out as part of work being spearheaded by DARG & GFGRG to improve support for care within academia. Any questions please contact jessica.hope@bristol.ac.uk
1.What is your name, current role and institution? (all optional and will not be shared beyond DARG & GFGRG)
2.Has your job, career stage or contract type shaped your decision to have children? If so, how?
3.Have you taken parental or adoption leave? If so, which type of leave and for how long?
4.How was this funded?
5.How did your employer support you?
6.Do you think that this career break impacted your career progression (for example, reducing your research time)?
7.What improvements could be made to better support early career academics with parental/adoption leave?
