Welcome to our wildlife campaign survey

Thank you for sparing a few minutes to help us.
First we'd like you to read a few words about wildlife, why it's in trouble and some ideas for what we can do about this. Then we have a few questions about ways we can help, including some ideas for future campaigns that we'd like your views on. It should only take you a few minutes to complete the survey. Your response is very important to us and will help us to develop future campaigns. Thank you.

Wildlife - from birds and bees to hedgehogs and wildflowers - is in trouble.

Evidence proves nature is good for our mental and physical health.  Wildlife is popular on TV.  Millions of us feed the birds.  And without insects like bees, much of our food would vanish.

Yet woods, meadows, ponds and other places with lots of wild plants and animals are still getting smaller, more polluted and cut-off from each other and are still being destroyed. As a result, many of our wild plants and animals are declining.  1 in 10 face extinction.

Yes, we have environmental rules for farming, fishing at sea and housing development, but it’s not enough.

Nature is vanishing from our lives, growing thinner with each generation. And what we don’t see or meet, we forget.

For people to love and help wildlife they need to come across it at home, at school, in the community, in the everyday places where our lives are lived.  But how?

The Wildlife Trusts believe we need a big change.

We cannot solve this problem alone, but with others we can.  We would like your views and ideas about what would make the most difference:  ways to help nature to recover, and to bring more wildlife into daily lives, which people will understand. Things that individuals or families, organisations, governments, or businesses can do, and which together, we might make happen.
