The University Black Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) Staff Network has just been established having emerged from the demands of staff to advance anti-discriminatory practices and racial and ethnic equality, diversity and inclusivity in our working and learning environments at the University.

It is a voluntary group, including members from academic departments and professional services and so represents a cross-University collaboration that will harness valuable insights deriving from our collective commitment, expertise and experience.

The Network welcomes and encourages participation from all BAME staff at the University. Other staff who support the aims of the Network are also encouraged to participate.

The BAME Staff Network is currently identifying its main priorities, to steer the group in this endeavour please can you contribute by filling out this anonymous survey. The survey will be open until Friday 4th December 2020

If you have any question about the survey or the network, please email us at BAMEstaff@beds.ac.uk
