RCEM Survey of Emergency Physicians on Global Emergency Medicine related activity
Section 1 : About you
It has been widely acknowledged that many College Members and Fellows undertake a range of work overseas. Much of this work is centred around improving the delivery of care in humanitarian and development settings. Most recently, the emerging discipline of Global Emergency Medicine (GEM) has been seen to encompass much of the work strands that are undertaken internationally by colleagues, and to this aim, RCEM has established a Global Emergency Medicine Committee.
Following an initial pilot survey on GEM practice conducted in Autumn 2018, RCEM would like to conduct a formal survey of RCEM Members opinions regarding their experience of GEM practice.
The main aims of this survey are to:
Provide guidance and feedback within the College to support future work plans
Publish a list of key activity themes and locations for the benefit of supporting a wider GEM network
Maintain a database of key contacts to support the RCEM members network
By completing this survey, you consent to allow the RCEM GEM Committee to use your responses as part of any publications that may arise as a result of this work.
Your personal information will not be made available to the public domain and all data will be handled according to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For further information, please visit the RCEM website here.
Thank you for your participation which will be vital in helping to guide and inform the future work of the Committee.
