The BPA is running this survey on behalf of the National Roads Policing Operations, Intelligence and Investigation Forum, part of the National Police Chief’s Council (NPCC) Roads Policing portfolio, to better understand how the parking sector uses or engages with ANPR and CCTV cameras for the purposes of parking or traffic management and enforcement.

In February 2021 a successful application was made to the Road Safety Trust (RST) to part-fund an ANPR Project based in Gloucestershire.  Through pilots and research findings, the project aims to more effectively reduce risk and harm linked to road use by improving ANPR capability and increasing the value that camera technology delivers.

The survey should take you around 10-15 minutes to complete and we would appreciate if you could respond by Friday 26th November.

Please note all responses will be treated in confidence, are solely for the purposes of informing this research and will not be published or attributed to any individual or organisation. We value your opinion and invite you to contribute your views on how to improve the effectiveness of ANPR capability.

Please email dave.s@britishparking.co.uk if you have any questions
