Sport sub-programme

In the context of the Erasmus + programs, the project Open Data for Sports Governance is included in the Erasmus + category:  Promote and Support good governance in sport.

The general objective of this project is to create a governance and management tool to analyse, compare and assist European sports organisations to manage them in a more efficient and transparent way.

The project has been already officially supported by more than 75 European sports organizations.

After some months to analyse similar European and non-European projects and literature, we have identified the total population of Sports organisations in the partners countries (Spain, France, Italy, Malta, Lithuania, Portugal and Slovenia). Based on this population we have selected the sample considering the sports, size and their availability.

Added to this, we have been working on a method to categorise Key Performance Indicators (KPI´s) and list them in the current proposal. Set of KPI’s that will be sent to sports organisations (Clubs, Multi-Sports Clubs, Federations and National Olympic Committees) of our sample.

In that sense, your organisation has been selected to participate in the project and it is for this reason we will be very grateful if you consider the proposal to participate in the project. Because of this, it would be extremely useful to answer the questionnaire that we attach here. In return, at the first stage, you will receive a detailed report from your sports organization.

In the future, we would like to extend this project to other sports and countries in order to have a more powerful tool (Open Data) to analyse and assist sports organisations.
