The Government has committed NHS primary care/general practice to increase primary care availability to routine appointments between 6.30pm to 8pm Monday to Friday and on Saturday and Sunday (they have not set hours for the weekend). This is for pre-booked routine type appointments, not for urgent access. The York clinical commissioning group is tendering out for this access. We would like your help in understanding what you would see as useful in this time.

Please note the extended access is to be GP-led but is not likely to be many GP appointments.
