We are a team of university researchers from France, Germany, Ireland, Lithuania, Netherlands, Singapore, United
Kingdom and the United States doing an international study of language learning at university. The project leader is Prof. Anne Pauwels from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
Through this on line survey we would like to know more about university students' knowledge and use of languages and
the languages they (want to) learn. This information assist us in understanding how the language background of students may impact on the study of a language and how this can help us improve language learning at universities.
We would like to have your consent to participate in this study. Your participation in this survey is entirely voluntary and
anonymous. The survey data will be put in a data archive and will be used to write reports and papers for public use. Any data that may potentially identify you will be removed from any archives, reports or other publications that are for public use.
