Seminar application form: Developing policy and practice to support trans inclusion and participation in sport (27th Nov)

A seminar for those who are in the process of developing, or in early stages of implementing policies to support the inclusion and participation of trans people. 

The purpose of the seminar is to create a space to explore specific issues in some depth, hear up to date narratives and developments in that area, consider the various nuances and sport specific implications, and to identify and consider best practice and good practice examples. 

This is a seminar rather than training as it is envisaged that this will be an interactive session where partners will be sharing and discussing practice as well as learning from some specifically designed content. 

 

The seminar is offered for free as part of a programme of work funded by Big Lottery Fund and is targeted at the sports sector which may include sports governing bodies, sports associations, leisure trusts and sports clubs.  With thanks to Scottish Football Association for hosting and supporting this seminar. 

 

This form is an application for a place at the seminar.  Should the session you are interested in be oversubscribed, we will limit to one space per organisation or association, we will ensure a good spread of organisations and sports represented, and we will look at what people are hoping to get out of the seminar.
