Investing In Access: A National Award for Scotland?

Disability Equality Scotland are carrying out a feasibility study called Investing in Access. The Big Lottery funded project is a scoping exercise to establish a need for a national standard and thus a national award for accessibility in public spaces and other service providers.  Similar to Investors in People, the award would provide various incentive for service providers to provide greater accessibility.

It is important to have the input from as many people as possible, therefore, we welcome participation from Disability Equality Scotland members, member's family and friends and representatives from disability organisations.
