WoWstow Survey - Sexual health services in Walthamstow |
Services are changing - let us know your views and experiences
Walthamstow currently has one sexual health clinic at Comely Bank Health Centre in Addison Road, Walthamstow. This service is commissioned by Waltham Forest Council and is an outreach clinic from the Oliver Road Clinic in Leyton. There is also a clinic for complicated sexual health service provision (GUM services) at Whipps Cross Hospital.
The council is seeking to find out residents' views on the current services and their experiences of them. It is looking to commission these services as part of a north east London sub region, which is likely to see advanced sexual health provision no longer available at Whipps Cross, but instead available in Whitechapel and Stratford.
Women of Walthamstow is a local campaign group that was created because of a lack of local sexual health provision. Our campaign secured the clinic in Comely Bank, and we are keen to ensure that any future changes still provides Walthamstow residents with adequate services.
Please spare a few minutes to complete this survey. We are keen to hear the views of men and women, of all ages, so that Walthamstow views are heard by those commissioning the services.
