Mid Sussex District Council - Public Attitude Questionnaire

Mid Sussex District Council licences two types of taxi vehicle. Those regularly found at taxi ranks, are hackney carriages. They can also be booked as well as be hailed down in the street. The other kind of vehicle can only be booked in advance and are known as private hire. When we want to refer to both types of vehicle we will call them ‘licensed vehicles’. We are also interested in how your perception and use of both has changed with the impact of COVID-19.
