Museum and Gallery Early Career Teacher (ECT)Training Academy Scoping Survey

Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums, which includes Discovery Museum, Great North Museum: Hancock, Hatton Art Gallery, Laing Art Gallery, Shipley Art Gallery, Segedunum Roman Fort, Arbeia Roman Fort, South Shields Museum, Stephenson Railway and the Tyne & Wear Archives, are planning a full academic year of training aimed at Newly Qualified Teachers. Our Museum & Gallery NQT Training Academy will support early career teachers, providing opportunities to gain knowledge and skills, as well as the chance to put theory into practice with pupils back at school.
