Otium Leisure Consultancy has been appointed to carry out an Economic Appraisal for the proposed enhancement of Melvin Arena Sports Ground. Initial improvements are likely to include:
  • Provision of spectator welfare facilities
  • Spectator entrance/s to include turnstile/s
  • Provision of covered spectator seating
  • Boundary fencing and dugouts
  • Floodlighting to the athletics track 
A questionnaire is being distributed to all sports clubs, schools, community groups and others in the area. Information captured via questionnaires will only be used to inform the need for, and intended use of Melvin Arena Sports Grounds and it should take about 10 minutes to complete.
