About the survey

Local Healthwatch are independent consumer champions created to gather and represent the views of the public. Our role is to ensure that the voices of those who use health and social care services are listened to by those who plan and provide them.

Healthwatch North Lincolnshire are undertaking a review of peoples experiences of mental health throughout the coronavirus pandemic. As part of the review we are asking people to tell us their experiences. The findings will highlight what is working well and give recommendations for improvement.

The coronavirus pandemic has lead to many people experiencing problems with their mental health. Leading mental health charity Mind have found the following:

"nearly two thirds (60 percent) of people across England say that their mental health has got worse during lockdown, but around one third (31 percent) did not seek help as they thought their problem wasn’t serious enough."
