Merton Music Foundation aims for its workforce to be representative of society and believes that it is important that the foundation reflects the diversity within the local community.

In order to monitor progress, we collect demographic data at all levels of the organisation. Data is submitted anonymously and is stored separately to any employee or contractor records / personal details. This information is reviewed annually at Trustee and Core Team level. This data feeds into the Foundation’s Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Action Plan where it is used to combat instances of discrimination toward historically disadvantaged groups within MMF’s systems and approaches. Reporting on workforce data is now a requirement for funding bodies including Arts Council England and Youth Music. Your participation in the workforce data return allows MMF to improve, better plan for the future and tailor programmes to the communities that we serve.
