UK Music Creators' Survey 2021 |
Have Your Say In UK Music Creators’ Survey
The past twelve months have been hugely challenging for many people, especially anyone who creates and performs music, but we need your help again.
As the umbrella body for the UK music industry, we need accurate data to show the impact Covid-19 and to campaign on the issues that matter to creators and the 200,000 people in our industry.
Every year, UK Music produces a major report, which is used by policy-makers and industry professionals when discussing the music industry and the challenges it faces. The data collected from our UK Music Creators’ Survey plays a vital role in developing this report.
Most important of all, the survey allows us to recognise the value of your work as a creator - and gives us the evidence and data we need to help fight for you when talking to policy-makers.
All responses are anonymous, confidential, aggregated and managed in accordance with GDPR legislation.
The survey should take around 8 minutes to complete. You will need access to your financial records, royalty statements and so on in order to complete this survey. It is also advisable that you take a look through all the questions before completing it to ensure you have the information you need.
As a thank you, completing this survey automatically enters you into a prize draw. You could win one of several fantastic prizes including Sennheiser headphones and £100 vouchers for a top music store.
It is open to anyone who is a full-time or part-time professional music creator. This includes artists, composers, writers and producers.
