Whistleblowing, safeguarding and duty of candour

Survey of UKPHR registrants

In 2020, UKPHR published guidance for our registrants on issues related to whistleblowing, safeguarding and your duty of candour. We would like to ask you a few questions about this guidance so that we know it has been useful and how it can be improved. The survey will take a maximum of 5 minutes to complete, and we are grateful for your feedback. The survey is here. The survey will close on 3 September 2021. The policies can be found here. 
1.Do you know that, as a UKPHR registrant, you must act on any concerns you have about the safety or welfare of a vulnerable person (safeguarding)? 
2.Do you know that, as a UKPHR registrant, you can raise a concern with us about danger, or someone's wrongful conduct or illegality that affects others (whistleblowing)?
3.Do you know that, as a UKPHR registrant, you have a duty to be open and honest with patients and service users when something goes wrong that appears to have caused harm or could lead to harm in the future (duty of candour)?
