About the survey

14% of survey complete.
Citizens Advice is looking for people to tell us about the effect that consumer problems have had on their lives. By consumer problems, we mean problems with goods and services that you have bought which happened through no fault of your own.

We are offering £50 in Love2Shop vouchers as a thank you to those who are chosen to take part in the research.

If you have experienced a consumer problem in the last two years, we’d like to hear from you about the impact that it had on your life. For example, it may have cost you money, taken up a lot of your time, or made it more difficulty for you to manage from day to day.

This survey asks questions about the problem you faced and the effects it had on you. It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to complete.

If you are chosen to take part in the research, we will contact you directly to arrange an interview. This is likely to take place in a Citizens Advice office local to you. The interview will take around an hour and you will be asked to do a short task before you arrive. Everyone who completes the task and the interview will receive £50 in Love2Shop vouchers as a thank you for participating.

As we want to find out about a range of different people and problems, filling in this survey doesn't necessarily mean you will be asked to take part in an interview.

At the end of the survey, we will ask you to let us know if you are happy for us to use your information. All of the information you provide in this survey will be confidential, accessible only to the research team at Citizens Advice, and will not be held on the system once used. We will not use your information for any other purpose unless you give us permission to do so.

It's ok if you don't want to answer all the questions. Only some answers are required.

Thank you for your participation.
