About Quality assessment
To comply with the standards of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (or Public Sector Internal Audit Standards) HE internal audit services must periodically assess themselves against the Standards and the Code of Ethics, assess the efficiency and effectiveness of the function and identify opportunities for improvement.
CHEIA’s Quality Assurance Tool can be used to perform this quality assessment, either as a self-assessment to meet the internal quality review requirements or for a peer-review to meet the external quality review requirements.
Each year CHEIA facilitates the grouping of individuals for external peer-review and collates the anonymised results for benchmarking.
Please complete the attached Survey by 20 May 2022 to tell us whether or not you would like to take part in this year’s exercise.
